Anyone that has visited the Prairies knows the horizon and its all encompassing sky seem to never end. Wherever possible the Brandon Airport allows the newly landed or soon to depart flyer the opportunity to soak in the amazing view, be it from under the protective cantilevered entrance soffits, or as transparent views through the terminal.
The structure is intended to disappear into the background of the user’s experience, providing a calm and unassuming framework for the users. Perhaps it’s a little easier this way to focus on finding their tuques and mitts after landing from a warm winter getaway.
