The Harvey Redsky Memorial School accommodates students from kindergarten to the eighth grade in the Shoal Lake 40 First Nation, in Northwestern Ontario. It was designed with a special focus on creating a sense of home through the selection of finishes and by avoiding elements that might create an institutional atmosphere. The school layout allows for the classroom wing of the building to be locked during afterschool events, allowing the center of the school to be used for community events.
