This national monument was constructed to memorialize the historic discrimination against 2SLGBTQI+ people in Canada. The design draws from the symbolism of a thunderhead cloud, representing the strength, activism and hope of the 2SLGBTQI+ community. The monument includes a mirrored tile sculpture, a pathway through the park, and a healing circle. Providing a place for both quiet reflection and large gatherings for the community.
