Originally built in 1995, the Rankin Inlet air terminal requires modifications to continue efficiently serving the community. To address this need, the Government of Nunavut commissioned this project to redevelop and expand this facility. This project includes the renovation of portions of the two storey 10,000 square foot existing air terminal as well as the construction of a 53,000 square foot terminal and connection of this facility to the two terminals. This new facility will be able to better accommodate the passenger demand during peak hours.
